Digital etiquette, or netiquette is very simply a set of rules that need to be followed.

10 points of netiquette

1. Remember the human

2. Adhere to the same standards of behavior online that you follow in real life

3. Know where you are in cyber space

4. Respect other people's time and bandwidth

5. Make yourself look good online

6. Share expert knowledge

7. Do not type in full capital letters it is considered as shouting

8. Respect other peoples privacy

9. Do not abuse your power

10. Be forgiving of other peoples mistakes.

Digital code of conduct:
All students attending educational institutions where these specific code of conduct is applied should act responsible in terms of using the internet for academic use and not personal use.

Students should be respectable in terms of respecting another students or educators privacy online (do not steal or hack  into someone else's account). Act safely as to not put anyone in danger including yourself in the digital world. Information found on the internet should always be referenced when using the information in academic material.

The following digital code of conduct will be upheld by implementing penalties that would upheld by implementing penalties that would affect those students who do not follow the digital code of conduct. If the individual exceeds their warnings ultimately being  banned from using the internet at the institution which results in devastating affects in association to academics
